GO Month - "P" Donations
Let's celebrate Get Organized (GO) Month by donating items A-Z!

To celebrate Get Organized (GO) Month I'm doing a series of posts on items ranging from A-Z. For each letter, I'll provide a list of potential resources for what to do with your belongings if you're ready to donate or sell them.
Thanks for hanging in there with me as we're up to letter P!
P is for PET SUPPLIES
Pets of the Homeless is one of a few national animal organizations focused on feeding and providing emergency care to pets and homeless people. You can click the link to find a location in the area. They accept cat and dog food as well as toys, leashes, collars, flea treatments, etc.
For sites in CT:
The CT Humane Society has a pet food pantry that provides quality pet food at no cost for people in financial difficulty who are struggling to afford their pets.
STARelief and Pet Assistance of Stamford provides life-saving pet food and supplies for anyone having financial difficulties.
Connecticut Cat Connection is in Windsor and helps cats find their forever families.
The Animal Haven in North Haven takes towels and blankets and other gently used supplies and they have a great YouTube channel featuring animals up for adoption.
Pet Protectors, Inc. is in Fairfield and accepts cages, carriers, leashes, collars, blankets, dog/cat food, and even stamps and assorted office supplies. They'll do their best to even pick up donated items to help their precious animals.
