Let's celebrate Get Organized (GO) Month by donating items A-Z!
To celebrate Get Organized (GO) Month I'm doing a series of posts on items ranging from A-Z. For each letter, I'll provide a list of potential resources for what to do with your belongings if you're ready to donate or sell them.
We're nearing the end and are up to letter T.
T is for TROPHIES
Total Awards & Promotions has a trophy recycling program. But do note, they are not accepting trophies until March 2021 due to an increase in donations because of Covid.
Lamb Awards & Engraving will also take old trophies, plaques, sculptures, and medals.
Sports Medal Recycling takes medals and pins ONLY.
Medals 4 Mettle accepts only earned marathon, half-marathon, or triathlon medals.
Mr. Trophy is located right here in Hartford, CT. I couldn't tell from their website if they accept donations of old trophies, but you could contact them to find out.
Boy and Girl Scout troops may be able to reuse them for ceremonies. Or you can try adult day care centers or senior citizen programs that might use them for bingo prizes or awards for silly events.
And here's a fun how-to on creating a trophy and medal collage from Cuckoo 4 Design.
