Hoarding Hi-5: Jul 2021
A round-up of useful information on hoarding disorder.

As my specialization is working with people who struggle with hoarding disorder and chronic disorganization, I decided to devote a monthly post to all things hoarding-related. Here are 5 things I'd like you to know this month.
1.
This quote by hoarding expert, Dr. Randy Frost, cuts right to the point:
“I’m smart and creative, and I could have been happy. But I’m not anything. I have done nothing. I’m collecting life without living it.”
2.
A great interview with Terrence Shulman, an attorney and social worker in recovery from addictive-compulsive shoplifting and stealing.
3. A helpful video clip of Dr. Gail Steketee (one of my old BU professors) focused on help for spouses of hoarding disorder s.ufferers.
4.
Are you familiar with Senior Squalor Syndrome? Time to assess your elderly parents and family members.
5.
What's your happiness level?
